In the extraordinary book of Nathaniel Hawthorne, diction and significance are used to communicate Hester Prynne's conflicts with herself and the townspeople, persons on this book, including Hester, go through various emotions beacuase of the experince they are going through, the essential lesson is that persons change emotionally depending on the circumstances they are in. Hester finds very little in a personal conflict, going through many feelings, this is intended by the use of diction by Nathaniel Hawthorne, making it more very clear and clear for someone to understand.
