Midterm Question #1
William and Dorothy Wordsworth not only have got a connection through marriage, although also through Literature. Both have their own significant way with their own producing containing handful of similarities, although also a handful of differences. In reading above their materials, you see that they can both have written on the matter of daffodils next to a lake. Following reading both of these poems carefully you will start noticing that they are writing about the same time and place, but in total opposite techniques. Dorothy approaches the subject within a journaling form, as if she's just writing in her daily journal. William, on the other hand, writes with a flowing graceful outlook, creating a poem away of his experience.
In Dorothy's log entry she's writing as though it is just a regular day, although she adds a little more imagination towards that making the entry abnormal in a way which can be extremely better instead of just declaring, " I actually walked to the lake and did find a bunch of beautiful flowers. " She should go more into depth with it:
" some rested their minds upon these kinds of stones while on a
cushion for weariness & the remaining tossed & reeled &
danced & seemed as though they verily laughed with all the
wind that blew upon them above the Lake, "
Just that short little excerpt is more visual than in the event that she were to just say some of the daffodils laying there as others blew in the wind. And so Dorothy knows how to bring more quality tips to the table to make a great entry interesting, but her husband is yet another story.
William's literary materials is extremely distinct in multiple ways compared to his partner. He focuses more in poetry, never rhyming or perhaps flowing, several different types of graceful writing. Not only does he provide an interesting story to the table a lot like his wife, but this individual takes that story and builds it, creating a masterpiece poem or perhaps sometimes multiple poem.
