The theme of the poem ‘On my first Sonne', simply by Ben Jonson, is released through the title, where our company is already knowledgeable that the poem will be regarding the poet's first boy. The composition begins while using word, ‘Farewell', which leads all of us on to understand that this is a tragic farewell that the poet person is articulating. Jonson obviously is articulating his take pleasure in and satisfaction for his son when ever writing, ‘child of my right hands and joy', which is a metaphor that identifies Jesus simply by mentioning ‘my right hand', which represents how Jesus is God's right side, and provides a dad's love and pride. This kind of comes right after farewell, which in turn denotes that his son was a part of him, and the time has arrive to say adios. Through the approach in which Jonson has crafted this composition, we come to understand how important his son was to him and how much he meant. Simply by beginning a line with, ‘Ben', is really as though Jonson is saving this piece to him even following his death.
