A Comparison of " The War from the Worlds” Book (1898) And Modern Film В

Though it is the same story, the war of the world's book (1898) and film (modern) have their distinctions and similarities. A major big difference between them is usually when it is collection and the site. The difference among 1898 and 2005 actually changes the storyplot. In 1898 people are running from the tripods in horse drawn carriages and on foot. In june 2006 people are fleeing in vehicles, trucks, motorboats.

The character of the book has an unknown identity. The sole main (with names) personas mentioned in the novel are Ogilvy his meteorologist/scientist friend. There are many different characters described, but they are merely named (for example) ‘the Curate' and ‘the Cannon Man'. The key character in the film recognized for Hollywood professional Tom Sail. He is a divorced motorised hoist driver who have to look after his children intended for the weekend, Robbie a teenage young man and Rachel a 10 year old who likes to scream a lot. The Tripods

They are generally the same aside from a few subtly differences, like in the book it is a warmth ray, although the film the beam destroys organic matter. That they still seem fairly identical, and they both have the containers on the back for taking man samples. In the film the tripods have a pressure field around them which missiles and tanks cannot penetrate. В
